Corona Virus Isolation Mixes

As an increasing degree of uncertainty looms in the air over this years calendar of music events, many of us may be disheartened. However, for many music artists this has become a advantageous time to become creative and productive. As the weeks pass in lockdown, many DJs across the globe will be losing track of time whilst they take refuge in the safety of their bedroom studios. Housebound music lovers find themselves in search of new listening inspiration as they adapt to alternative ways to keep up their music fix!

Here at Shenanigan, we would like to invite DJs from across the Highlands & Islands to record and send us a ‘Shenanigan Isolation Mix’. As the mixes come in, we will begin sharing them publicly through our networks for the listening pleasure of everyone at home trying to get through isolation. If we like what we hear, we may even be in contact with you in the near future to get involved in some exciting projects we have in the pipeline – once we are all unlocked and ready for some shenanigans of course!

Whether your a Shenanigan veteran, are already out on the scene; but have not yet reached out to us or maybe you’re a budding DJ who’s spent these recent weeks locked up in your home studio and feel you are now ready to hit that record button – we want to hear from you all!

All mixes should be uploaded to Soundcloud or Mixcloud and include ‘Shenanigan Isolation Mix’ in the title. Please send all submissions to isolation@shenaniganinverness.com with a link to your mix; along with a little bit about your recent DJ’ing journey – we want to hear what you have all been up to!
