John Clark aka Debukas is an electronic music producer from Inverness, originally hailing from Glasgow. His tunes blend raw classic house energy with hooky yet wistful vocal lines. Legendary DJ Bill Brewster once described him as “the Mr Fingers of the Highlands.” HIs is a sound which is as much indebted to Arthur Russell and Gino Soccio as it is Underground Resistance and Model 500.

After having his music released by fine labels such as Church, 2020Vision and Poker Flat, Debukas has turned his attentions to his record label 2Sox, set up with brother Aldo as an outlet for deep, driving, melodic house music.
